LOGRUNNER MGS40 Multi-purpose loading grapple with saw
The LogRunner MGS40 is a lightweight, multi-purpose grapple that combines a loading grapple with a hydraulic chainsaw. Timber can be gripped, sorted, moved and cross-cut during the same work cycle without a separate saw or attachment change.
Applications
- Loading energy wood, small-diameter stems and timber
- Cross-cutting stems on the ground or in a pile to transport length
- Handling material collected from roadsides and field edges
- Handling and sorting branches, tops and bundles of wood
Key benefits
- Loading and cutting with one grapple reduces work stages and attachment changes.
- A 1200 mm opening is well suited to bundles and loose material.
- A weight of 220 kg preserves as much crane lifting capacity as possible.
- A 400 mm cutting capacity extends the use of a conventional loading grapple.
- Electro-hydraulic control operates all functions through one double-acting hydraulic circuit.
- Automatic chain lubrication reduces maintenance.
- Chain tensioning is manual.
- Manufactured from SSAB steel with extensive use of Hardox® steel.
