We decided to make a short video about the new Model C grab, in which we tried to show in more detail the features of the new grab.

The JAK-300C, presented at the world premiere of FinnMETKO 2022, has been a much talked about new product that has generated a lot of interest. The first batch of the model sold out over the same weekend, so the buzz around the product is not generated by mere chatter. Especially as we’ve received a lot of new enquiries about the product throughout the autumn.

One of the factors explaining the product’s popularity is certainly its compatibility with so many different sizes of excavators, as well as its operational characteristics. In order to better illustrate the operation of the C model to those who are not familiar with it, we decided to make a short video on the use of the grapple.

Thanks to its lightweight but robust construction, the JAK-300C can be deployed from 6 tonne machines up to 25 tonne excavators. The concentration of cutting power on one side of the jaw also makes the grapple slightly cheaper than the two-jaw models, while still being almost as powerful. However, it is in the actual work that the advantages of the C model are most apparent.

The gripper allows for easy handling of the wood, as its design allows the wood to be moved and loaded even when the cutting blade is stationary. Work efficiency can also be significantly improved by the use of a free-choice mass collector, which enables the grapple to grab and collect more wood at once.

The cutting blade underneath the grapple can also be removed, turning the grapple into a full-size wood grapple. The blade can also be easily removed and re-installed in a matter of minutes. You can find more information about the C model and its accessories on its dedicated product page.
