Increased demand has meant that we have had to start preparing to ensure sufficient production capacity in the future. This is why we have decided to invest in expanding our production facilities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our company has had a lot going on lately. A record number of products have been shipped out to the world and we’ve been busy in every area. However, as our business has always been based on a steady and determined development model, the need for additional space has not come as a surprise to us. Expansion is part of the natural progression of our business, so we have had plenty of time to plan the solutions. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

From the very beginning, the starting point for expansion has been not to move any stage of production too far away from our actual factory, because it is important for us to be present at all stages of production. For this reason, the facilities to be made available for the expansion should either be built close to our existing site, or be located sufficiently close to it. <\/p>\n\n

Fortunately, this time we didn’t have to start building a new one, as we found a suitable site in the immediate vicinity of our existing factory. In a way, this is a very fortunate coincidence, as it means we can get the new premises up and running very quickly and with very little risk. We plan to have the extension fully operational after the summer. <\/p>\n\n

Next, we will simply renovate the premises to make them suitable for our use, after which our production capacity will have been increased to a new level. All in all, this expansion will increase the total number of our production facilities by about a third. <\/p>\n\n

Production quality control is the basis of our customer satisfaction<\/h2>\n\n

By keeping the whole production chain in our own hands, we want to send a message to the world that we really do make our own products and stand proudly behind them. Jak Metalli Oy’s business has been characterised by the fact that we do not compete in the market with the lowest prices or with image advertising based on unfounded promises. We are driven by a genuine desire to do our best and thus show the world how good export products can be made in Finland. <\/p>\n\n

However, the centralisation of production also has a direct impact on customer satisfaction. With full control over the entire production chain, we can ensure that our customers get what we promise them. This is why it is very important for us to be present at all stages of our production. <\/p>\n\n

When we ensure that the quality of our products remains high and meets expectations, this naturally has a direct link to customer satisfaction. Since ultimately it is always the user who makes the final judgement on the quality of a product, it is most important to us that our products at least match the quality we have promised our users. <\/p>\n\n

Expansion seeks growth in international markets on the strength of domestic labour<\/h2>\n\n

As our market grows and new distributors are found around the world, it is clear that our company must be able to meet the challenges that follow. The expansion of our production facilities is therefore also part of a larger vision, where demand for our products is expected to grow steadily with awareness. And this is what seems to be happening in reality. <\/p>\n\n

Recently, we have gained a foothold in the United States and Canada in particular, where many of our products have been shipped in a short period of time. We are also actively seeking new contacts around the world and all the indications are that demand is certainly not slowing down. For this reason, we want to continue to ensure that we are able to offer our products to everyone who wants them. <\/p>\n\n

However, our large-scale internationalisation goals do not diminish the role of domestic labour in our operations. In fact, the opposite is true, because the more we export, the more work we bring back to Finland. In this way, we support domestic employment and entrepreneurship from the local level onwards. Concentration of production therefore also has an ideological significance in this sense. <\/p>\n\n
