Felling support

A separately attached felling support for the tree shear makes tree handling easier and safer. The felling support, available as an accessory, increases the height of the shear's impact plate, ensuring a firm grip on the tree.

The felling support is a necessary accessory if the tree being cleared is more fragile due to decay, for example. Against the felling support, softer wood stays intact more easily and does not break directly above the jaws due to gravity and movement when being handled.
